About Newaygo County Dark Sky Astronomers

Established in 2005, the Newaygo County Dark Sky Astronomers provide local area astronomers the opportunity to explore the universe. The Newaygo County Dark Sky Astronomers welcomes members of all ages and interest levels, from the first-time astronomer to the serious observer.

Meetings

Everyone is invited to meetings of the Newaygo County Dark Sky Astronomers. General meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Meetings are held at the Observatory. Winter meetings are held at the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce office at 7 East Main Street, Fremont, Michigan. Anyone is welcome to take part in the many exciting opportunites that await them at the SFW Observatory.
